Lee Kemp vs. Dan Gable (1972 Olympic Champion) in the 1975 Northern Open. Lee was 19 years old in only his 6th year of wrestling.






Lee Kemp's match in a Dual Meet with a Junior N.E. Ohio "All-Star" team vs a Junior Russian Team held in Cleveland Ohio in June of 1974.  This was Lee Kemp's first international match just a few days after graduation from Chardon High School.

Lee Kemp, becomes youngest World Champion from the United States, at age 21, with a 7-4 win over Nanev from Bulgaria. World Championships held in Mexico City, August of 1978 






True Freshman Lee Kemp (19 years old), U of Wisconsin losses to Junior, Chuck Yagla, Iowa in overtime on a split referee's decision. Back then each of the three officials voted on who they though the winners was (2 voted for Chuck and 1 voted for Lee).
